What We Believe
1) The Bible is the inspired Word Of God and our authority and guide for salvation and the Christian life.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction is righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Tim 3:16, 17
Thy word is true and everyone of thy righteous ordinances endure forever. Psalm 119:160
2) That Jesus Christ is Lord of all, Creator of the Heavens and Earth, and the Savior of sinners.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made. John 1:1,2,3
And the Word became flesh and lived amongst us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
3) That all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Rom 3:23
As it is written there is none righteous, no not one. There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. Rom 3: 10-11
4) That the wages or result of sin is death and that eternal life is the gift of God in Jesus Christ our Lord.
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:23
He that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18
5) Salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus. It is a gift and can not be earned by our works.
For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourself it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 2:8,9
Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom 5:1
He that believeth on the Son has everlasting life and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Rom 3:24
